Position Summary:
As a Receptionist Trainee at QIT Plus Pty Ltd, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, visitors, and employees. You will play a crucial role in creating a positive first impression and providing exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will include managing the reception area, handling incoming calls, and supporting administrative tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Front Desk Management: • Greet and welcome visitors with a friendly and professional demeanour. • Manage the reception area, ensuring it is clean and organized. 2. Phone Management: • Answer and direct incoming phone calls to the appropriate staff members. • Take accurate messages and deliver them promptly. 3. Visitor Assistance: • Assist visitors with sign-in procedures. • Notify employees of visitor arrivals and guide them to meeting rooms. 4. Mail and Package Handling: • Sort and distribute incoming mail, packages, and deliveries. • Prepare outgoing mail and packages for courier services. 5. Scheduling and Appointments: • Manage meeting room reservations and scheduling. • Assist in coordinating appointments and meeting arrangements. 6. Administrative Support: • Provide general administrative support to various departments. • Assist with data entry, document filing, and other office tasks as needed. • Ensure office facilities are kept clean. 7. Security Awareness: • Ensure the security of the premises by monitoring access and visitor activity. • Follow security and safety procedures, including emergency response protocols. 8. Office Supplies and Inventory: • Maintain office supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary. • Keep inventory of office supplies and notify the appropriate personnel when replenishment is needed. 9. Position Summary:
 
As a Level 1 IT Help Desk Trainee at QIT Plus Pty Ltd, you will be the first point of contact for resolving technical issues for our employees. You will provide technical support, troubleshooting, and excellent customer service to ensure the smooth operation of our IT systems and applications.
 
Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Technical Support • Provide first-level technical support to employees via phone, email, or in-person. • Assist with hardware and software issues, including desktops, laptops, printers and mobile devices. 2. Issue Triage • Evaluate and prioritize incoming support requests. • Troubleshoot and resolve common hardware and software problems promptly. Visitor Assistance: 3. User Account Management • Create and manage user accounts, passwords, and access permissions. • Assist employees with password resets and account-related issues. 4. Software Installation and Updates: • Install, configure, and update software applications as may be required. • Provide guidance to users and customers on basic software and system usage and best practices. 5. Hardware Maintenance: • Perform hardware maintenance and upgrades as needed. • Coordinate warranty repairs and replacements for faulty equipment. • Help with hardware maintenance in meetings rooms. • Coordinate online team meetings for staff or customers as required.
6. Documentation: • Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions. • Create and update user guides and knowledge base articles. 7. Remote Desktop Support: • Provide remote assistance to employees working off-site. • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues. 8. Security Awareness: • Follow and enforce IT security policies and procedures. • Assist in monitoring network security and report any security breaches. 9. Inventory Management: • Keep track of IT equipment and supplies. • Maintain an inventory of hardware and software licenses. 10. Training and Education • Stay updated on the latest IT trends and technologies.
